Business
Process Re-engineering
Impressive Communications Sdn Bhd provides BPR services which
is conducted in conjunction with the implementation of any
major IT projects we undertake. This BPR is undertaken to
tackle the core issue of matching business operations to the
proposed IT solutions, whilst at the same time, to improve
the current business processes.
The following diagram demonstrates our methodology and the
importance of matching business processes with IT and thus
resulting in better customer satisfaction regarding the implementation
of new IT solutions. This is in contrast to the implementation
of new IT solutions without performing a BPR resulting in
worse customer satisfaction regarding IT.

Change
Management
The
Change Management Programme constitutes a key element of any
IT projects implementation. Impressive Communications Sdn
Bhd adopts an integrated approach to the implementation of
an IT project driven by the conviction that this effort transcends
a computerisation exercise.
Our method of IT Projects Change Management program focuses
on teaching clients on how to manage for:
Strategic
flexibility, to continually redefine goals without sacrificing
organisation's
core
values.
Change-readiness,
to galvanise action toward the organisation's vision without
having
to wait for crisis.
Hidden
leverage, to identify, use, and adapt the unwritten rules
that drive
organisation
by applying "system thinking".
Operational
alignment, to move from systems thinking to systems action,
simultaneously
changing the many interrelated facets of organisation without
disrupting
performance.
Organisational
involvement, to enlist the support of key employees by changing
the
way
they think about their day-to-day actions, so that they become
the agents of
change
rather than its victims.
Learning
acceleration, to build up an infrastructure of continuous
learning so that
organisation
"improves how it improves".
Guiding
Principles of Proposed Change Methodology
A process described in the diagram below drive the Change
Management Plan. Unlike most plans, which stop at implementation,
this process includes a comprehensive change implementation
and measurement process to institutionalise the principles
of a learning organisation to form the bedrock for continuous
change and improvement.

a)
Organisational Change
The
change plan indicated is phased such that each phase employs
a technology diffusion strategy that involves all staff from
the target department in all the sub-phases within each phase.
b)
Personal Change
Potential
adopters of the IT Project will go through a variety of phases.
The diagram below indicates this.
